Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
Myrthe Atkinson (herein referred to as “the +Coach”) agrees to provide Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session and the Balanced Parenting Package to the client who purchased either a Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or the Balanced Parenting Package.
The client agrees to abide by all policies and procedures as outlined in this agreement as a condition of their participation in either the Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or the Balanced Parenting Package option.
2. Definitions of offered services
2. 1 Single Session
A Single Session is an hour-long coaching session with the +Coach about a topic of your choosing.
A coaching session can be held virtually or in person. The +Coach and the client will abide the guidelines set out by the Dutch Government regarding social distancing and other measures relevant at the time of the in-person appointment. The +Coach can meet with the client in the client’s house to assess and observe the natural interactions with the child(ren) and the usage of space with regards to the theory of ‘space as a third educator’.
Within 7 days of this Single Session, the +Coach will send the notes of this coaching session by email to the client. The notes are included in the price and make sure the client can read all discussed points again for future reference.
2.2 No Taboo Session
A No Taboo Session is an hour-long coaching session with the +Coach about a topic of your choosing.
A coaching session can be held virtually or in person. The +Coach and the client will abide the guidelines set out by the Dutch Government regarding social distancing and other measures relevant at the time of the in-person appointment. The +Coach can meet with the client in the client’s house to assess and observe the natural interactions with the child(ren) and the usage of space with regards to the theory of ‘space as a third educator’.
Within 7 days of this No Taboo Session, the +Coach will send the notes of this coaching session by email to the client. The notes are included in the price and make sure the client can read all discussed points again for future reference.

2.3 Balanced Parenting Package
The Balanced Parenting Package is a 3 month long coaching package.
All sessions can be held virtually or in person. The +Coach and the client will abide the guidelines set out by the Dutch Government regarding social distancing and other measures relevant at the time of the in-person appointments. The +Coach meets with the client in the client’s house to assess and observe the natural interactions with the child(ren) and the usage of space with regards to the theory of ‘space as a third educator’.
The 3-month period starts when the intake meeting has taken place. The intake meeting is a meeting of a maximum of 60 minutes or an hour.
Together with the client, the +Coach will determine when and where to do the 3 observations of the interactions of the client and the child(ren). These observations will take up a maximum of an hour each time.
In the weeks where the +Coach and the client have not planned an observation moment, there will be a coaching session planned. The coaching sessions will take up a maximum of an hour.
Within 7 days of each contact moment (intake conversation, observation, or coaching session), the +Coach will send the notes of this contact moment by email to the client. The notes are included in the price and make sure the client can read all discussed points again for future reference.

2.4 Child Coaching Session
A Child Coaching Session is a service that can be booked in addition to a Single Session or the Balanced Parenting Package. This is an hour-long coaching session of the +Coach with your child. The +Coach will first discuss with parents what possible topics should be or what specifically needs attention.
The +Coach will never be alone with your child. A session may be held in a room with the door open, or by walking together with the parent nearby.
In consultation with your child and depending on their development, I will share certain insights gathered with the parents.
3. Disclaimer
The +Coach is an experienced coach with a bachelor’s in educational theory, who specializes in parenting support. The +Coach is not a therapist, doctor, psychoanalyst, or counsellor.
Client understands that the +Coach has not promised, shall not be obligated to and will not; (1) act as a therapist providing psychoanalysis, psychological counselling, or behavioural therapy; (2) be held responsible for results that are not perceived as positive by the client after implementation of strategies offered during a Single Session or during the Balanced Parenting Package. The client is and will stay responsible for the consequences of the way they parent; (3) is not claiming that satisfaction in parenting as a result of purchasing a Single Session, A No-Taboo Session, the Balanced Parenting Package or the Child Coaching Session will be sufficient for other stages of development the client and their children will inevitably find themselves in. Parenting is a dynamic process and clients might find themselves requiring additional parenting support in different stages of the child’s development;
4. Payment
4. 1 The price for a Single Session can be paid in the following manner:
1 Payment of €49,00 with mention of the agreed date of the Session, to this bank account: NL84 INGB 0008 843647.
The payment should be in the bank account at least 48 hours before the single session takes place, to the attention of +Coach.
The date on which the Single Session should be paid, will be included in the +Coach invoice.

4. 2 The price for a No Taboo Session can be paid in the following manner:
1 Payment of €49,00 with mention of the agreed date of the Session, to this bank account: NL84 INGB 0008 843647.
The payment should be in the bank account at least 48 hours before the single session takes place to the attention of +Coach.
The date on which the No Taboo Session should be paid, will be included in the +Coach invoice.

4.3 The price for the Balanced Parenting Package can be paid in the following manners:
4.3.1.
1 Payment of €588,00 with mention of the agreed start date of the Package, to this bank account: NL84 INGB 0008 843647.
The payment should be in the bank account at least 48 hours before the single session takes place to the attention of +Coach.

4.3.2.
3 Payments of €196,00 with mention of the agreed start date of the Package, to this bank account: NL84 INGB 0008 843647.
The first payment should be in the bank account at least 48 hours before the intake conversation takes place to the attention of +Coach.
The second payment should be made within 5 weeks of the agreed start date of the Package.
The third and last payment should be made within 9 weeks of the agreed start date of the package.
Details of dates when the money should be paid, will be specified in the clients’ personal +Coach invoice.

4.4 The price for a Child Coaching Session can be paid in the following manner:
1 Payment of €49,00 with mention of the agreed date of the Session, to this bank account: NL84 INGB 0008 843647.
The payment should be in the bank account at least 48 hours before the single session takes place to the attention of +Coach.
The date on which the Child Coaching Session should be paid, will be included in the +Coach invoice.

4.5 Travel compensation
For coaching moments at the client's home, € 0,19 per kilometre travel compensation will be charged. The exact price will be included in the +Coach invoice. The +Coach uses Google Maps to calculate the amount of kilometres.

5. Cancellation policy
The +Coach will do anything she can for the client to be satisfied with the purchased service and the +Coach wants the client to give their best effort to implement suggestions and strategies that are learned from either a single session or the balanced parenting package.
5.1 Cancellation policy Single Session
In the event that the client decides the single session the client purchased and scheduled was not the right decision, the client can cancel the purchased and scheduled single session with a minimum of 24hours of the start of the single session (Central European Time).
In this case the full amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.
If the client cancels a purchased and scheduled single session within 24hours of the start of the service, the client will not be able to request the payment back.

5.1 Cancellation policy No Taboo Session
In the event that the client decides the No Taboo Session the client purchased and scheduled was not the right decision, the client can cancel the purchased and scheduled No Taboo session with a minimum of 24hours of the start of the single session (Central European Time).
In this case the full amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.
If the client cancels a purchased and scheduled No Taboo session within 24hours of the start of the service, the client will not be able to request the payment back.
5.3 Cancellation policy Balanced Parenting Package
In the event that the client decides the Balanced Parenting Package the client purchased and scheduled was not the right decision, the client can cancel the purchased and scheduled Balanced Parenting Package with a minimum of 24hours of the start of the intake conversation (Central European Time).
In this case the full amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.
If the client cancels the purchased and scheduled Balanced Parenting Package within 24hours of the start of the intake conversation, the +Coach will charge only the price of a single session, which amounts to €49,00. The rest of the payment made by the client will be reimbursed by the +Coach to the client within 2 weeks.

5.4 Cancellation policy Child Coaching Session
In the event that the client decides the Child Coaching Session the client purchased and scheduled was not the right decision, the client can cancel the purchased and scheduled Child Coaching Session with a minimum of 24hours of the start of the Child Coaching Session(Central European Time).
In this case the full amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.
If the client cancels a purchased and scheduled Child Coaching Session within 24hours of the start of the service, the client will not be able to request the payment back.
6. Refund policy
6.1 Refund policy Single Sessions
In case the client is dissatisfied with the single session, there is no possibility to request a refund.
The +Coach always goes the extra mile to coach the client in parenting to the extent she is able. The time spent in the single session can not be retrieved, and therefore this service has no refund option.

6.2 Refund policy No Taboo Sessions
In case the client is dissatisfied with the No Taboo Session, there is no possibility to request a refund.
The +Coach always goes the extra mile to coach the client in parenting to the extent she is able. The time spent in the No Taboo Session can not be retrieved, and therefore this service has no refund option.
6.3 Refund policy Balanced Parenting Package
In case the client has started with the Balanced Parenting Package but does not feel the offered coaching meets the expectations of the client, it is possible to terminate the 3-month period early.
If the client cancels the remainder of the purchased and scheduled Balanced Parenting Package with a minimum of 24hours before the start of the otherwise next scheduled contact moment, the +Coach will charge only the price of the contact moments that the client and +Coach have had so far. In the case of an early termination, the price of a contact moment is the same as a single session, which amounts to €49,00.
In this case the remainder of the paid amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.
If the client cancels the remainder of the purchased and scheduled Balanced Parenting Package within 24hours of the start of the otherwise next scheduled contact moment, the +Coach will charge only the price of the contact moments that the client and +Coach have had so far and an additional single session.
In this case the remainder of the paid amount will be reimbursed to the client within 2 weeks.

6.4 Refund policy Child Coaching Session
In case the client is dissatisfied with the Child Coaching Session, there is no possibility to request a refund.
The +Coach always goes the extra mile to coach the child of the client to the extent she is able. The time spent in the Child Coaching Session can not be retrieved, and therefore this service has no refund option.
7. Rescheduling policy
The +Coach respects unexpected occurrences in the lives of her clients. The +Coach also values her own time and effort that goes into planning and preparing for each session.
For these reasons it is possible to reschedule a Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or a contact moment in the Balanced Parenting Package with a minimum of 24hours notice before the starting time of the session or contact moment (Central European Time). Emergencies within 24hours’ notice are an exception.
If the client does not show up for a scheduled session or requests to reschedule within 24hours before the starting time of the session or contact moment, the scheduled session will be forfeited without the possibility to request a refund. You can always buy and schedule in a new session.
8. Client responsibility
The client accepts and agrees that the client is 100% responsible for their progress and results from following a Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or the Balanced Parenting Package.
The client understands that because of the nature of the services provided by the +Coach, the results experienced by each client may vary.
The +Coach can offer no guarantee that the client will reach all their goals as a result of participation in a single session or the balanced parenting package.
9. Confidentiality
The +Coach respects the client’s privacy and insists that the client respects the +Coach and her intellectual properties. This is a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Any confidential information shared by the client is confidential, proprietary, and belongs solely and exclusively to the client who shares this information in a coaching session.
Parties agree not to disclose, reveal or make use of any confidential information or any transactions, in any way. The client agrees not to violate the +Coach’s publicity or privacy rights.
The client will not reveal any information to a third party obtained in connection with this agreement or the +Coach’s direct or indirect dealing with the client including but not limited to: names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses.
Furthermore, by purchasing a Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or the Balanced Parenting Package, the client agrees that if the client violates or displays the likelihood of violating the confidentiality agreement, the +Coach Is entitled to injunctive relief to prohibit such violations to protect against the harm of such violations.
The client is not authorized to use any of the +Coach’s intellectual properties to share with anybody else or copy and share in any way.
All intellectual properties, including but not limited to worksheets and coaching tools, shall remain the sole property of the +Coach.
10. Reviews
The +Coach will ask clients during and/or after a session or the package for feedback in the form of a review. It is up to the clients' discretion to share the review with the +Coach that she can use on her website. If the +Coach is planning on using a clients' review, she will always first tell the client and ask with which name (or anonymously) the review can be uploaded.
By sharing your review with the +Coach, you allow the +Coach to translate your review in Dutch so this review can be viewed in both languages.
The +Coach is appreciative of all feedback which helps her grow and helps her inspire others by receiving a personal message.

11. Termination
The +Coach is committed to providing all clients with a positive experience with durable results.
By purchasing a Single Session, No Taboo Session, Child Coaching Session or the Balanced Parenting Package, the client agreed that the +Coach may, at her sole discretion, terminate this agreement, and limit, suspend, or terminate the client’s possibilities to further follow the chosen service without refund or forgiveness of monthly payments if the client violates any or more of the terms as determined by the +Coach. The client will still be liable to pay the total invoice amount.
12. Indemnity
The client shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the +Coach, related entities, affiliates and successors from and against any and all liabilities and expense whatsoever – including without limitation claims, damages, judgements, awards, settlements, investigations, costs, attorney fees and disbursements – which any of them may incur or become obligated to pay arising out of or resulting from the offering for sale and or use of products, excluding however any such expenses and liabilities which may result from a breach of this Agreement or sole negligence or wilful misconduct the +Coach, related entities, affiliates or successors.
The client shall defend the +Coach in any legal actions, regulatory actions and the like arising from or related to this agreement.
The client recognizes that the +Coach shall not be held personally responsible or liable for any actions or representations of the +Coach Company.
In consideration of and as part of my payment for the right to participate in one of the +Coach offered services, the client and affiliates, do hereby release, waive, acquit, discharge the +Coach, related entities, affiliates and successors in any way as well as the venue where the purchased service takes place (if applicable) of and from all actions, causes of action, contracts, claims, suits, costs, demands and damages of whatever nature or kind or in an equity arising from the client’s participation in any of the purchased services, offered by the +Coach.

Privacy Policy

1. Type of information
I receive, collect and store any information you enter on the website or provide me in any other way. In addition, I collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information and purchase history. I may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. I also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile.

When you conduct a transaction on the website, as part of the process, I collect personal information you give me such as your name, address and email address. Your personal information will be used for the specific reasons stated above only.

I collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

4. How do I store, use, share and disclose your information?
My company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides me with the online platform that allows me to sell my (products and) services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by my company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

5. Communications between the +Coach and the client
I may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement I may have with you. For these purposes I may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.
